15 top Iran motion pics to screen on Int’l Animation Day

Top Iranian animated films are to be screened at Cinéma vérité theater hall in Iran on the International Animation Day.

Animations produced by Documentary & Experimental Film Center of Iran that have grabbed awards at various international film festivals are to be screened on October 28 in Tehran.

Marzieh Abrar Paidar’s ‘Pet Man’, ‘Butterfly-ness’ directed by Ali Azizi, ‘Ascribed Achievements’ directed  by Samaneh Shojaei, Hajar Mehrani’s ‘Dash Akol’, ‘The Servant’ directed by Farnoush Abedi, ‘The Switchman’ by Mehdi Khorramian and Amir Houshang Moein’s ‘Orangish Tree’ are among the names.

All of the animations have participated and won many awards at international film festivals around the world.

Iran's Documentary and Experimental Film Center (DEFC) is the main center for production, distribution and promotion of documentary, animated and experimental pictures in the Middle East.
